How do I get information on EZbooks? How do I access my Immediate Access textbook? How do I access my textbook on RedShelf?

Your textbooks are accessed through the campus bookstore, Aztec Shops. 

Common Textbook Resources

  1. Aztec Shops Textbook Site (Info for Main Campus, SDSU IV, Global Campus, Interwork, and ALI)
  2. Get your personalized booklist: Main Campus or SDSU IV Campus
  3. Information on Immediate Access textbooks
  4. SDSU bookstore RedShelf site
  5. Information about Equitable Access

Look to see if the library has your textbook in Course Reserves: https://libinfo.sdsu.edu/faq/301199

Your textbook questions should be directed to ezbooks@darth.sdsu.edu or (619) 594-7525.

The library doesn't typically purchase textbooks but professors will sometimes place a copy of the textbook for a class on course reserve. The SDSU Library Course Reserves collection which includes textbooks and some course materials are available at the Circulation Desk on the first floor of the Library Addition (Dome). These materials can be checked out for a limited time (loan period will vary depending on the item).

To see if there are books or materials in Course Reserves for your course:

  1. Select Course Reserves - located under the search box on the library homepage
  2.  Enter either your course code or your instructor's last name in the search box
  3. Look for your instructor or course section and click on the link
  4. Check the availability and make note of how long you can check the item out
  5. Head to the Circulation Desk on the first floor of the Library Addition just below the dome and check out the book
  6. Return it to Circulation when it is due so others can use it.
