How do I find children's bilingual books or children's books in languages other than English?

Answer

Bilingual books for children in the SDSU collection are located in the juvenile collection on the fourth floor of the Love Library building.

1)To search for these in the catalog, start at library.sdsu.edu

2)Type in bilingual books juvenile

3)On the page that comes back, on the left side of the page facets will appear that allow you to narrow your search.

4)Under Resource Type, click on Show More. Check the box next to Book

5)Find Location in the facets list and click on the ^ symbol next to it to reveal all of the locations. Find Juvenile Collection in the locations list and check the box next to it. 

6)At the bottom of the screen click on APPLY FILTERS. 

7)This will return a list of bilingual children's books in the juvenile collection of the SDSU Library.

8)Use the call number of the book to locate it on the shelf.

If you are looking for books that include the Spanish language, do the same process as above, only when you start type in Spanish language juvenile in the search box. Then repeat steps 3) through 8) above.

If you are looking for books in any language, do the same process as above, only when you start type in the desired language  _____ language juvenile in the search box. Then repeat steps 3) through 8) above.
