What is the Esports Engagement Center?

The Esports Engagement Center is a joint initiative of the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity, the Division of Information Technology, and the University Library to provide a space for the delivery of a holistic program centered on esports as a medium for curricular and co-curricular learning, student success, advising, health and well-being, career development, and scholarly research.
Opening in Fall 2023 with continuing renovation of the space through Spring 2024, the Esports Engagement Center will provide:
- coordinated care advising
- educational and well-being events and workshops
- advising and programming for related Recognized Student Organizations
- evening, late-night, and weekend programming
- competitive and non-competitive e-sports play
- opportunities for learning, scholarship, and engagement with related library services and collections
The Esports Engagement Center is located in Library Addition 2203 (formerly Quiet Study).
Current Hours for the Center are: Mondays - Fridays, 10:00AM - 6:00PM
