What is the Esports Engagement Center?

The Esports Engagement Center is a joint initiative of the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity, the Division of Information Technology, and the University Library to provide a space for the delivery of a holistic program centered on esports as a medium for curricular and co-curricular learning, student success, advising, health and well-being, career development, and scholarly research.

The Esports Engagement Center provides:

  • coordinated care advising
  • educational and well-being events and workshops
  • advising and programming for related Recognized Student Organizations
  • evening, late-night, and weekend programming
  • competitive and non-competitive e-sports play
  • opportunities for learning, scholarship, and engagement with related library services and collections

The Esports Engagement Center is located in Library Addition 2203 (formerly Quiet Study).

Hours during the semester are: Mondays - Fridays, 10:00AM - 6:00PM

Additional gaming resources are available in the library through the build IT makerspace.
