How do I find music reviews?

The library subscribes to many newspapers and magazines that publish music reviews. One way to search for music reviews is to use OneSearch Advanced search. Include the artist, or the name of a particular album, in quotes and include the subject: review. There are also many free online reviews*. Here's an example of using the advanced search to find music reviews for the group A Tribe Called Quest:
*Please note that you may find an article you like on a website, like Rolling Stone for example, and be prompted to login or pay to access the article. The library has access to some Rolling Stone content, but the articles you find online may not be available on our databases. You may be able to access a similar article by searching the magazine or journal with the artist name or album title.
