What is microform? How can I access things on microform?

Answer

Microforms are scaled-down reproductions of documents, typically either films or paper, made for the purposes of transmission, storage, reading, and printing (Wikipedia entry). We have materials in both microfilm (stored on reels) and microfiche (flat sheets).

Our microforms are shelved in Room LA-74, which is in the basement of the Library Addition. We have 2 reader/printers and 1 reader/scanner which can be used to view, print, and scan.

LA-74 is open during library hours.
