How do I use Mendeley?

Mendeley is a free citation management software tool that allows you to store and organize your references.  

  • Create an account via mendeley.com
  • Download the Mendeley Web Importer Chrome extension (also available for other browsers).  This will allow you to import papers, web pages, and other documents directly into your reference library from search engines and academic databases.

*Mendeley Cite in Word will not work in SDSU MS 365 accounts. Only approved plugins are available to students.
