Where can I find Zoom-friendly spaces in the library?

Answer

There are many areas in the library that are appropriate for wearing headphones and speaking in a normal voice while contributing to online class discussion. Headphones are available to check out from the Library Circulation Desk (down the stairs from the Library Dome Entrance).

Some of these areas are:

  • Floors 3 & 4 in Love Library. There are tables and study carrels located throughout the book stacks, many of these have access to electrical outlets. These floors are not designated as quiet study.
  • The Laptop Lounge, and Digital Humanities Center study space in the basement level under the Library Dome have electrical outlets and allow for talking in a normal voice.

Single Use Rooms

You can also reserve a single-use room for a private space to Zoom in.
