Does the library have audiobooks?

How can I find a streaming audiobook or an audiobook on CD?

Answer

The library does have streaming and recorded (on CD, LP, etc) audio collection. You can use OneSearch to search it by title and use the limits on the results page to limit to "Audio" or "Audio CD." However, the majority of the collection is music and performance recordings.

The SDSU library does not have an extensive collection of audio versions of popular books like the service Audible offers, however. Try the public library if you can't find an audio version of the book you're looking for in OneSearch. San Diego Public Library and San Diego County Library both have extensive e-audiobook collections.
