How do I find a book or article that I need?

How do I find a known item, like a book or an article, that I know the title of?

Answer

If you are looking for a particular book, journal article, film, or other source and you know the title (or the author/creator) you can use OneSearch to look it up. Use the title (or the author's name) to search for the book/article you are looking for.

If the SDSU library has a copy, it will come up in the OneSearch results. The interlibrary loan (ILL) service can help you find a copy of the book or article if SDSU does not own a copy. For more information about how ILL works, see: https://library.sdsu.edu/services-and-support/interlibrary-loan
