What do I do if I lost the equipment, such as a laptop or a computer, I borrowed?

If you have misplaced a library laptop or it has been stolen, please email the circulation desk right away at circulation@sdsu.edu.
Circulation staff may be able to help you recover the device using the GPS function on the laptop and/or remotely lock the laptop so your personal information is secure and the laptop can't be used.
If the equipment can't be recovered, the replacement cost for lost laptops is $1,000.
