Printing Available to SDSU Students
Print Services Locations:
- 24/7 - Print Services Desk
- Located on the 2nd floor of the Love Library Addition.

- Printing in the SDSU Library is available during open hours.

How to add money to your SDSUcard:
- Your SDSUcard is your print card for printing in the Library
- Add money to your card

- Standard = 10¢/side
- Color = 35¢/side
How to Print:
- Send a print job from our computers or from email (color or double-sided printing is not available via email at this time)
- From our computers:
- Select File
- Select Print
- Select printer (B&W or Color) Note: Color printers a located in the 24/7-Print Services area
- Select “Print on Both Sides” if needed
- Hit print button
- Using your SDSUid email account, email your single sided B&W print job as an attachment to:
- lib-printer@sdsu.edu
- Wait for your confirmation email
- Within 15 minutes of sending, you should receive a confirmation email that your print job is ready. The confirmation email will include an access code for releasing your print job. If you do not receive the confirmation email, it means your print job did not go through, check the troubleshooting section and try again or send from our computers for faster service.
- From our computers:
- Go to print stations
- Print jobs will stay in the queue for up to 4 hours from time sent
- Look for your SDSUid or email address and select it
- If you sent from email you must input the access code sent in the confirmation email
- Select the print jobs you want printed
- Select the Print These Jobs button
- Swipe your card to pay
- Select the Pay & Print button to release your jobs
- Pick up your jobs from the printer
Troubleshooting for email printing:
- You must attach an acceptable file type

- DO NOT attach from Google Drive or other cloud storage options
- PDFs are best
- Download Google Docs as PDFs
- Download Mac Pages files as PDFs
- Image files are okay
- Microsoft Word or Excel files are okay
- Files size limit
- 25MB
- Report any outages
- Call the Print Services Help Desk at 619-594-3446 to report any printer issues
